CARY MEMORIAL LIBRARY
From time to time, I host author interviews for Cary Memorial Library’s Literary Cafe. Recent events include:
- On September 17, 2024, I was in conversation with bestselling author Marjan Kamali about her new novel, The Lion Women of Tehran.
- On May 8, 2024, I hosted Writing Young Adult Novels, a panel discussion featuring YA authors Autumn Allen, T.M. Blanchet, and Desmond Hall.
A MIGHTY BLAZE
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, bestselling authors Jenna Blum and Caroline Leavitt created A Mighty Blaze, a online literary organization designed to offer author interviews, to connect writers and readers, and to help all literary endeavors pivot to the digital age.
I had the pleasure of co-hosting and producing a weekly online show called Authors Love Bookstores to help promote authors and independent bookstores. Along with my co-host Joe Moldover, we featured conversations between bestselling and award-winning authors and the independent bookstores they admire in the US (all 50 states, plus Puerto Rico and Washington, DC!), Canada, and the UK, broadcasting on A Mighty Blaze’s Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter channels.
